Learn to Lead Masterclasses in the Lake District
You've been climbing regularly at your local wall, and you're ready for the progression to trad outdoor climbing. Or you've seconded lots of outdoor routes and you want to learn how to place gear and build belays so you can lead some routes. Or maybe you've got your Climbing Wall Award or Climbing Wall Instructor, and you'd like to work towards becoming a Rock Climbing Instructor. This masterclass covers all the basics of lead climbing outdoors, and will show you how to make good decisions and how to keep yourself and your partner safe.
Venue: will be confirmed when booking, but will be somewhere in the central Lake District
Dates: 11th June 2019
Times: 9.30am to 4pm approx
~ helmet & harness
~ climbing rack: bring whatever you have, including slings and belay plates
~ rock shoes & chalk bag
~ ropes: bring any climbing and rigging ropes that you have
~ packed lunch & drinks
