They Gave Me Two Days – and I Transformed The Way They Think About Short Roping

Ideas by Chris, words by Anne

Last month I wrote about the art of short roping. This weekend four AMI members joined me for a two-day workshop putting it all into practice. They were all keen to learn and willing to try new methods, and they made excellent progress as we explored the limits of what works and what doesn't.

Chris is an extremely professional guide and his knowledge is second to none. Chris is also a great and enthusiastic teacher. I really enjoyed the weekend, learnt new skills and I will be back again.

Our next short roping workshop for AMI members is 22nd & 23rd April 2017. We also have a programme of CPD workshops - check out our CPD page and see if there is a workshop that will advance your skills or provide a refresher before an assessment.
