on the summit of a rocky alpine peak

Please see the Essential Information for the Alps page for info on guiding fees, preparation, accommodation & travel, equipment, and an explanation of fitness levels and mountaineering experience.

Is This The Right Course For Me?

If none of our suggested programmes appeal, we can design an itinerary to suit your aspirations, your group size, your fitness level, your mountaineering ability, and the time you have available.

The size of your group will determine the challenges you can undertake:

1:4 – limited to glacier treks and straightforward trekking peaks, such as Aiguille de Tour, Bishorn, Allalinhorn, Breithorn, Pigne d’Arolla, and the Haute Route

1:3 – all the above, plus slightly more demanding peaks such as Weissmies and Gran Paradiso

1:2 – all the above, plus more technical mountains such as Mont Blanc, MonteRosa, Dent Blanche, Jungfrau, Petit Aiguille Vert, , Dent de Geant

1:1 – no limits! Some peaks can only be done at 1:1, eg the Matterhorn, the Eiger via the Mittelegi Ridge

What Will The Programme Look Like?

That totally depends on you!

What Do Our Clients Say?

Chris has worked with us on a number of school trips and each time he has been fantastic. He has inspired the boys with his unique enthusiasm, whether climbing classic rock in the lakes, icefalls in Norway, winter routes in Scotland or 4000m mountains in the Alps. Consequently, we have all been amazed by the quality and difficulty of the routes that have been climbed. Whatever the conditions, Chris has found an unforgettable challenge that has been perfectly suited to the group. We will undoubtedly be signing up for more adventures with him again soon.
